The Dewantara Kirti Griya Tamansiswa Museum holds 81 manuscripts originating from Ki Hadjar Dewantara, the Kadipaten Pakualaman, as well as grants from collectors. the manuscripts are mostly written in Javanese script and Javanese language, but some are also written in Pegon script and Latin. The texts are mostly literary and artistic, especially children's songs.
