This manuscript is a Javanese letter containing the submission of zakat from someone named Narakusuma, a Glagah Village Supervisor to Kyai Basir at the Bungah Islamic boarding school. Because the Kyai was not at home, the money was entrusted to the Kyai's wife accompanied by this letter. The manuscript is written in Javanese script using black ink. The manuscript is still relatively legible although there are words that are illegible because the paper has holes and the edges of the pages are damaged.
