Vākyārthamātṛkāvṛtti and Tattvabindu

A bundle containing two classical Sanskrit works on the philosophy of language, namely Śālikanātha's Vākyārthamātṛkāvṛtti. A hitherto unknown copy of an important 9th-century treatise on semantics, belonging to the Prābhākara school of Vedic exegesis (images 0005-0074) and Vācaspati Miśra's Tattvabindu. A hitherto unknown copy of a famous 10th-century treatise on semantics, by the illustrious Indian polymath Vācaspati Miśra; the last leaf of the item is a stray leaf, with unconnected writings in Malayalam language (images 0077-0175) . This copy of the works has not been used by any editors of the text. The bundle is generally damaged.
