Digitisation of manuscript records of the first section of the documentary fund of the San Francisco de Lima archive (EAP1487)

The project "Digitisation of manuscript records of the First Section of the Documentary Fund of the San Francisco de Lima Archive" consists of:

a) Cleanliness of the environment.

b) Digitisation of the folios of each manuscript record using the BookEye 4 V2 planetary scanner.

c) Creation of metadata and digital storage of scanned documents on external hard drives with a capacity of 1 terabyte.

d) Organisation of the database through a programme (virtual access) that presents the researcher with the folio of the record that he needs.
