Aims and objectives
The "Eyes-on-Heritage" collection contains plenty of rare manuscripts, books, archival documents and historical records examining the history of Palestine in the 20th century. The collection is considered a major and valuable resource of historical and written heritage. This essential project will help protect a collection located in one of the most fragile and troubled areas in the world, the Gaza strip. The collection was collected and safeguarded over many years by the scholar and historian Dr. Abdul-Latif Abu Hashem, who is well known in Palestine and the wider Arab region.
