Aims and objectives
This project aims to digitise and make available in perpetuity a collection of building permit application dossiers submitted to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) from its early colonial manifestation as the Accra Town Council in 1894 through to the 1970s.
Outcomes
The records copied by this project have been catalogued as:
- EAP1161/1 Accra Town Council Collection of Building Permit Folders (1892-1953)
Due to the cyber-attack on the British Library in October 2023, the archives and manuscripts database is currently inaccessible and we are unable to provide links to the catalogue records for this project.
