Sveta Bhairav, an impressive gilt head of Seto Bhairav is installed beside the Degutale Temple in Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square. It donated by Rana Bahadur Shah in 1795 during the ocassion of Indra Jatra Festival. The image still plays an important role in this annual festival when from a concealed reservoir behind his mouth, the god dispenses ritual beer to the clamoring crowd.
