This is a photograph of one of the actors in the amateur group of the Turkish minority in Tsonevo village. In the 50s the Bulgarian policy in the field of minorities stimulated the establishment of different minorities groups' in the fields of folklore and the arts. However, in the 60s these policies were replaced by the concept that there is only one national group in Bulgaria and minorities shall not be given any particular rights.
