This picture shows Dr. Zokhuma's father (T. Luaia, son of M. Suaka) with his friend. The reverse of the photo notes that it was a New Years present. The picture is unique in that bicycles were never commonly used in the extremely hilly region of Lushai Hills. We can presume that this photo was thus taken somewhere outside of Lushai Hills, perhaps in Shillong, Calcutta, or Guwahati, where T. Luaia pursued his education (see EAP454_Zokhuma_79 and _81 for his University of Calcutta matriculation certificates).
The photograph itself measures 75mm x 100mm. With the backboard, it measures 125mm x 150mm.
