Somdet Pha Luk Keo Silasangvaro (Pha Khamfan Silasangvara Maha Thela, 1901-1987), former abbot of Vat Suvannakhili and Chao Rajakhana Xay (a right-hand of high ecclesiastical rank in the religious hierarchy) of the Board of Buddhist Education of Laos. Photograph was taken at the age of 79, and 59 Vassa (year of the Buddhist retreat) in A.D.1980. A message under the portrait written that "Pha Yautkeo Sathu Nyai Khamfan Silasangvara Maha Thela of Vat Khiri, Luang Prabang. Born in A.D.1901, died in A.D.1987". silver gelatine DOP print.
