Bun Sanghayana (a revision of the Tripitaka with three pulpits) on Bun Mahaxat (the festival of Prince Vessantara, recitation of the Vessantara-Jataka) at Sala 80 at Vat Saen Sukharam on December 1, 2006. This photograph represents an offering of Kong Attha (sets of offering-gifts) to the monks who were given sermons and chanting of Sanghayana. The monks sitting from the left: Pha Bunthan Punyakamo, Abbot of Vat Pa Phon Phao Vanaram and Pha Kham Khong of Vat That Luang Maharajavihan. The layman sitting on the right is Mr. Ajan Maha Bunpheng Sioudomphan of Ban Phon Hueang, a pupil as a foster-son of Pha Khamchan Virachitta Maha Thela, Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam. Chromogenic print.
