Lay people participate in Het Bun (merit-making) on the 80th Birthday Celebration of Pha Khamchan Virachitta Maha Thela, Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam and Bun Mahachat (the festival of Vessantara-Jataka) for celebrating Sala 80 at Vat Saen Sukharam in 2000. These are Kong Boat (sets of offering-gifts for an ordination of monks), Kong Hot (sets of offering-gifts for a ceremony of sprinkle water of monks) and Kong Sanghayana (sets of offering-gifts for a revision of the Tripitaka sermons-giving), prepared by Pha Khamchan and lay chief-donors .
