High Lao monks at Ivolginsk,a Mahayana Buddhist monastery which is the seat of Buddhism in Russia,near Ulan-Ude,capital of the Buryat Mongol Autonomous Soviet Republic at the time of Lao monk's visit.And received by Mongol patriarch,His Holiness Khambo-Lama.In the day of Visakabucha-Lao Sangkha delegation allowed for Buddhist Tibetan pay respect closely,some people catches the monk's angle robes put over head,some people told monk to blow on their head for be auspicious,and seem they had much faithful in these Lao Theraj monks especially.the photo was taken in May,31st,A.D.1969,(see Nr.A0998-A1025,B3243).
