Preservation of Lao Manuscripts Programme was established in 1999 by the Government of Lao P.D.R and the Gervernment of Federation of Germany Cooperation. Lay people of Ban Vat Nong who doing a research, cleaning and registering numbers of Lao manuscripts posing for a portrait in front of the main hall of Vat Nong Sikhounmeuang for a memorial.
