The cremation ceremony of the Sangharaj Dhammayana Mahathera (Bounthan Boupharat), His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch of Laos, at the main pyre at Vat Thebsarintharavat, Bangkok, Thailand, on the 12th of March in B.E. 2528 (C.E.1985). Sathou Khamlor Rattanayano (photo C-5095) sent this photo to Sathou Nyai Saysamout Chotiko, Abbot of Vat Pa Phon Phao, Luang Prabang, as a souvenir.
