Khamphan Silasangvaramahathera,the abbot of Wat Khili(1921-1987),the former chief-monk of the Buddhist Sangha of Luangprabang province passed away in 1987..The monks were carrying the coffin of Sathouyai Khamphan from Salathammaviharn(Dhamma Hall) which had Sathouyai Khamchanh Virachittamahathera the abbot of Wat Saen Soukharam,and the other monks and novices in Luangprabang,and other provinces in Laos,and the lay people came to pray respect to him,and came to have a procession on the cremation day.(This photo is the same as C0413 - C0432).
