Left to right: Phra Ajan Souk, Phra Maha Khamphan Virachit, Phra Maha Am and novice Khamchan Virachit at the age of 17 ( Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitto, the Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam). This photograph was taken at Vat Oup Mong in Vientiane in 1937. The same year, Phra Maha Khamphan Virachit went to study in Cambodia and came back for a visit to Luang Prabang. Novice Khamchan Virachit went to study in Bangkok, Thailand, and he also came for a visit to Luang Prabang. He met his older brother (Phra Maha Khamphan Virachit) in Vientiane and they came to visit Luang Prabang together.
