Chao Phethsaraj and his wife, Momh Aphimphone (aunt of Xavalith Yongjaiyout, the former Minister of Thailand) held a bronze casting ceremony of the Phrabang images at their private residence at Ban Naibeuang, Thonbouri, Thailand in 1956. The ceremony was attended by important monks such as Chao Khoun Soumethathibordee (Bounleauad) from Vat Maha That and Phra Ajan Chanh, the Abbot of Vat Mai Souvannaphoumaram. The images will be taken to Sri Lanka as souvenirs.
