Pou Nyer - Nya Nyer (ancestral couple of Luang Prabang) participated in the Prabang Buddha's procession for watering ceremony during the Lao New Year Festival. It started from the Royal Palace to Vat Mai Souvannaphoummaram. Pou Nyer - Nya Nyer were the first couple to water the Prabang Buddha image. This photograph was taken in Royal Palace in 1950s.
