After the Naga (the candidate for the ordination) offers the monk's robe and the flower bunch to the preceptor, the preceptor will give the monk's robe back to the Naga to hold it and pray the ordination chant. This photograph shows the ordination ceremony of Phia Hatsakaud (Ajan Thongdee) at Vat Saen Sukharam in 1965. The Sangharaj Dhammayana Mahathera was the preceptor.
