Novice Chanhpheng Kounsavath, at the age of 19 (also known as Sathou Nyai Chanhpheng Varathammo the Abbot of Vat Tham Phousi, 1917-2002). This photograph was taken when he studied Dhamma scripture in Bangkok, Thailand. He sent this photograph to Novice Souvanh Souphanthong at Vat Saen Sukharam as a souvenir on the 7th of April, 1936.
