Lay people [1959?]

Somdejchao Maha Ouparaj Phethsaraj Rattanavongsa (King Vangna) was born on 19th January 1889 (B.E.2432). He passing away on 14 October 1959 (B.E.2502). He was born in the Palace of his father named Sisouvanna Hor Kham next to Vat Mahathat(where is Souvannaphoum Hotel in the present day) in Luang Prabang during the reign of King Mahinthonethebniphaphone(Oun Kham). He is the son of Somdejchao Ouparaj Bounkhong and the Queen Thongsi Akkhavorarejthevee.In 1901, when he was 12 years old he had been a novice at Vat That Luang. In 1912, when he was 23 years old he had been a monk at Vat Nong Sakeo,Xing Maen village, Luang prabang.When he stopped being the monk, he had been married to the Princess Khamvaen who is the Princess of the King Sakkarin.In 1929, he had been promoted to be the Minister of the Buddhist Philosophy Association which takes care and spread the Buddhism, and he had composed the novices and the monks' rules whole the country. He was the founder of the school of the Dhamma scripture in Vientiane, and he was also the founder of the Library in Vat Chanh in Vientiane. In 1936, he repaired Hor Phra Keo in Vientiane.
