Phra Maha Charoun (sitting in middle) at Vat Benchamaborpid in Bangkok, Thailand and his pupils send this photo to Sathou Chanthee at Vat Mai Souvannaphoumaram, Luang Prabang (who is a monk teacher of Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitto) for souvenir in B.E. 2479 (C.E. 1936). In this year, Novice Khamchan Virachit (Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitto, the abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam) studying Dhamma scripture at Vat Benchamaborpid, so Phra Maha Charoun left this photo with Novice Khamchan Virachit for Sathou Chanthee at Vat Mai Souvannaphoumaram.This photo is very important for Buddhist fellowship and Buddhist education between Lao monks and Thai monks.
