An early aerial view of Boyden Observatory koppie, seen from the north-west. In the foreground is the access road up the slope of the koppie; lower down, other tracks can be seen, including a major road. Near the left edge of the image, behind the hill rise, five structures can be seen. The Modder River (and a tributary from the south) is prominent in the left half of the image. The garage has a side building to its north. The trees planted north of the Administrative Building are very small. The trees planted between the Administrative Building and the telescopes, and in the southern part of the site, are small. A red star-shaped sticker is attached at one corner. This image was probably taken after PLB36_0001 but before LSB04_0008. PLB33_0001 and LSB04_0015 are from the same original.
