Portraits of Evangelists - Ivan Neikov and Ivan Cheshirkov. Ivan Neikov is from the town of Panagiurishte. As a boy, he had brought forth appeals for the Uprising. The April Uprising has been organised in 1876 by the Bulgarians against the Ottoman rule and was unsuccessful. He lives for 98 years and died on 13 Jun 1937. Ivan Cheshirkov is Evangelist from the village of Tserovo. He is a member of the detachment of Georgi Benkovski, one of leaders of the April Uprising. Extent: 1 photograph.
