The 1937 Series

Named The 1937 series because Professor Bernard Bate believed the materials were organized and labeled after 1937. Although only one file was located and digitized by EAP971, the original series includes primarily letterbooks and tabāl books (manuscripts circulated amongst members of the mission and used to communicate annoucements, searches, etc.), meeting minutes, reports, and ecclesiastical records. Size and dimensions of original material: 30 total files, only 1 located. Arrangement: From Professor Bernard Bate's finding aid: "This is a very eclectic set of materials in varying conditions from letter-books and notebooks to printed books and scrapbooks. They represent a coherent categorical unit based solely on a distinct categorical and labeling system, though there are significant gaps in the system representing missing volumes" (2005).
