Pedram Soroushpour Collection

The collection contains two volumes. One of the volumes has a colophon providing the name of the scribe and the date of composition of the manuscript. Both manuscripts were probably composed in Kerman. Both of these manuscripts are Khordeh Avesta (Little Avesta), which contain several prayers for daily prayer. Both manuscripts were used during ritual ceremonies. One of the manuscripts has 7 chapters (including a poem (mathnawi)) and the other one includes the “Madad Vāj Yašt-i Gāhanbār”, a prayer, and a set of admonitions concerning the Gāhanbārs, i.e. the six high feasts which the Zoroastrians celebrate annually to venerate and honour God's creation.
