"Urdu key naujuwan ahle qalam ka adabi va fanni mahnamah". Ruman was a literary Urdu journal by Akhtar Shirani, was considered one of the romantic poet of Urdu literature. Ruman has introduced many new writers in his magazines, including Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi and Qudratullah Shahab (both are well-known Urdu writers).
