Description: The Otway Settlement was part of a post-WW2 Colonial Office project to enable landless Leeward Island farmers to rent government land and farm under best agricultural practice policies. There are only the 2 post-binder files that survive; from the content and dates, there must have been at least an earlier file and one between. They contain all government documentation relating to the project, including accounts, reports, correspondence etc. Extent and format of original material: 2 files.
