Dr. Abdul Rahman Brahui (1940-) is a former Registrar of the Balochistan High Court who is also a noted historian, literary critic, and linguist. Dr. Brahui's private collection contains manuscripts on history, herbal medicine, religion, ethics, Holy Qur'an, law and Islamic jurisprudence in Arabic, Persian and Brahui languages. He purchased manuscripts from Mulla Toro and Munsifī book sellers in early 1960s. Extent of original material: 185 manuscripts.
