Ajomoro Traditional Council Archive

The collection includes a heterogeneous corpus of records: documents regarding land rights and boundaries, lists of chiefs and acts, maps, court proceedings and judgements in civil, land and criminal remedies, as well as the financial administration of the Council. The documents span from the mid 20th Century to the 2000s. The collection refers to the Ajomoro Traditional Area. The collection consists of 119 files and volumes of varying sizes. This collection contains the following 2 series: EAP722/1/1: Judicial records, 20th century-21st century EAP722/1/2: Traditional Affiars and Stool Records, 1952-2014.
