Paper manuscripts housed at the Sala Hongtham [hall for keeping Buddhist scriptures]

The collection of paper manuscripts (mostly mullberry or sa paper) is with 15 volumes relatively small. Most of these volumes are made leporello style, are either made of greyish paper and are written in black ink or are made of blackened paper and then written in white or yellow ink or chalk. The majority of these manuscripts (12) contain Anisong (blessing) texts. The collection is under the custody of the monastery administration and the Lao Buddhist Fellowship Organization, Luang Prabang province.
