Paper manuscripts housed at the Kuti abode of Pha Khamchan Virachitto

The collection of paper manuscripts (mostly mullberry or sa paper, in a few cases also modern industrial paper) is with 72 volumes quite large. Most of these volumes are made leporello style, are either made of greyish paper and are written in black ink or are made of blackened paper and then written in white or yellow ink or chalk. The majority of these manuscripts deal with a variety of secular matters. The collection is under the custody of the monastery administration and the Lao Buddhist Fellowship Organization, Luang Prabang province.
