Description: Most cerculated Urdu periodical of sub-continent. In order to promote Urdu language in Punjab province its publication begins in July 1924. It has attractive illustrations, advertisements and interesting articles about the Urdu fictions, poetry, history, biographies, religion, bibliographies and criticism etc. It also contains special issues with distinct titles. Ditto with Adabi dunya; it also used to be published in jihazi size. It appears in different dimentions: 34.5×26.5 cm; 25×17 cm; 24.5×18 cm and 21×17 cm.
