Description: This collection includes nine manuscripts and books, all written in the Arabic (jawi) script and according to the owner brought from Singapore by her grandfather. Some are tales of the prophets, and other Islamic stories. One of the manuscripts was digitised for this pilot project. Extent and format of original material: Nine books and manuscripts. Physical characteristics of original material: Several of the books are in very poor shape, with pages falling out and/or missing. Some have been partially reconstructed using additional paper or tape.
