The majority of this collection are andemta manuscripts. But there are also hagiographic manuscripts. He uses published manuscripts in his school which is not a lay bet version of the Ethiopian andemta. The collection is a private one with a visible attachment with the Monastery (Dimma Giyorgis) where the scholar tought his entire life. Most of the andemta manuscripts archived in the collection are in good condition although the paper manuscripts are not in a good condition.
