Serigne Mame Mor Kayre Collection

The collection consists of digital copies of Wolofal (Wolof Ajami) manuscripts copied as part of the EAP 334 project. The manuscripts have been digitized from some surviving originals and photocopies of some of Serigne Mor Kayre's work.

Physical characteristics of original material: Images in this collection were captured using digital photography. The 74 pages copied are readable, but the 2 original pages are difficult to read due to their age.

1 set of unbound paper manuscript of 76 pages consisting of 74 pages of handwritten copies and 2 pages of Serigne Mor Kayre's own original work. According to the owner, some of the original materials were written in 1903 in Mauritania and 1907 in Darou Alim (also known as Ndame in Touba). Script of material: Wolof Ajami (Wolofal).
