bKa' brgyad

The bKa' brgyad manuscript contains 10 volumes of bKa' brgyad texts, which were rediscovered by Nyang ral Nyi ma 'Od zer and deal with worship of and meditation on the eight classes of wrathful deities. This cycle forms one of the three major cycles of teachings on the wrathful Buddha practices included in the Mahayoga doxographical category and known in rNying ma school as bKa' dgongs phur sum. The teachings are said to have been transmitted by Padmasambhava in the 8th century. 10 volumes of manuscripts on paper in loose leaf poti format. The leaves are approximately 48 x 7.5cm.
