"“Museo de La Plata, Departamento de Etnografía, Colección Omar Gancedo” [1970]"

The images that compose this collection - the only photographic records produced by Gancedo remaining in Museo de La Plata - correspond to the trip carried out to Torín Kué in 1970.

These photographs were distributed in two albums, mounted on cardboard and divided by the author following a subject matter criterion. This way we find several cardboards that they divide to the photographs in such categories as “Etnobotánica” (Ethnobotanics), “Etnozoología” (Ethnozoology), “Cestería” (Basketry), “Recreación” (Recreation), “Sociabilización” (Socialization), “Cerámica” (Pottery), “Construcción de Arcos” (Bows Construction) y “Construcción de Flechas” (Arrows Construction). However, we could find that after these photographs were divided by Gancedo in the above mentioned categories, some of them were extracted from one category and placed under another. Also we can tell there is an uncertain number of missing images.
