འཕགས་པ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཕལ་པོ་ཆེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཤིན་ཏུ་རྒྱས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ་

The Phal chen, or Buddha Avatamsaka collection, delves into profound Mahayana themes, including cosmology, philosophy, and the ethical practices of a Bodhisattva. This six-volume collection is presented in the traditional poti format, with its content meticulously inscribed in uchen script using black ink on cream-colored Bhutanese handmade paper. The first page of each volume is adorned with gold ink on dark blue paper. Revered as a sacred relic, the collection is carefully preserved on newly constructed bookshelves within the Dzong fortress. Each volume is wrapped in multiple layers of cloth, encased between two protective wooden boards, and securely fastened with a belt. This meticulous care reflects the profound reverence accorded to the collection, ensuring its sanctity and longevity for generations to come.
