É uma série de 4 documentos que lidam com quatro inquéritos policiais acerca de agressões físicas de um indivíduo por outro, com 3 processos utilizando do Código Penal de 1890 como base o artigo 303 (“Ofender fisicamente alguém, produzindo-lhe dor ou alguma lesão no corpo, embora sem derramamento de sangue”), e 1 processo o artigo 184 do mesmo (“Prometer, ou protestar, por escrito assinado, ou anônimo, ou verbalmente, fazer a alguém um mal que constitua crime, impondo, ou não, qualquer condição ou ordem”). O inquérito policial é regulamentado desde o Código de Processo Criminal Brasileiro de 1871.
