Vat Khok Nin Collection of Buddhist Manuscripts.
Custodial history: The provenance of the material is unknown. Most probably many of the texts were copied within the temple when manuscripts were still used and the art of copying was taught.
Arrangement: Manuscripts are stored in cupboards in the main sala temple building and in another storeroom. The temple is reponsible for the organisation of the collection. Manuscript codes are as used under the Lao Ministry of Information and Culture 'Preservation of Lao Manuscripts Programme' (1992-2004).
