Monasterio Santa Rosa de Santa María

The Monastery of Santa Rosa de Lima or Monastery of Santa Rosa de Santa María, better known as Santa Rosa de las Monjas, is made up of the Church and the Monastery, it was built in the 17th and 18th centuries, next to the house where Santa Rosa de Lima, Patron Saint of Lima, America and the Philippines, lived and died. The room (converted into a chapel) stands out in which she spent the last three months of her life, agonizing until her death on August 24, 1617. El Monasterio de Santa Rosa de Lima o Monasterio de Santa Rosa de Santa María, más conocido como Santa Rosa de las Monjas, está conformado por la Iglesia y el Monasterio, fue construido en los siglos XVII y XVIII, junto a la casa en la que vivió y falleció Santa Rosa de Lima, Patrona de Lima, América y Filipinas, destaca la habitación (convertida en capilla) en la cual pasó los últimos tres meses de vida, agonizante hasta fallecer el 24 de agosto de 1617.
