Midway was one of the first generation of commercially successful gay magazines that began publication in the mid-1980s and continued publication for over a decade until the late 1990s. (Most Midway issues did not provide a publication date.) Beginning from Issue No. 16, Midway had two separate systems for numbering its issues. Here we use the simplest issue numbering system, which numbers all issues consecutively from the first to last issue published. There are 103 known issues; issue number 36 is missing from this collection.
