His body is buried inside the temple. It is a mausoleum. These manuscripts are written by Siddha. It is protected by Dr.Kandanjaniyar Ilangogjaniyar and his brothers. This temple is a Siva Thalam, 63 Nayanar Puranas, Tiruchendur Panchapuranam, Thiruvadavurradigal Puranam etc. are written on these walls.
