Manuscripts belonging to the private collection of Ida Dewa Gede Catra

Palm-leaf manuscripts containing texts in Old Javanese and Balinese, on a variety of subjects (belles lettres, Balinese Hindu doctrines and rituals, mythology, etc.) belonging to the private collection of Ida Dewa Gede Catra in Amlapura, Karangasem, East Bali, Indonesia. Most of the manuscripts were copied by Ida Dewa Gede Catra himself.

Custodial history: Manuscripts belonging to the private collection of Ida Dewa Gede Catra (Amlapura, Karangasem, Bali), many of which were copied by himself. The manuscripts were temporarily stored at the Museum Pustaka Lontar Dukuh Penaban from 2019 to 2021, then returned to the residence of Ida Dewa Catra in Amlapura.
