Digitised copies of the archives of the African National Congress of Zambia (formerly Northern Rhodesia). The records were created and received during the period the party was an active political organisation, from 1948-1973.

The records consist primarily of correspondence, minutes, reports, press releases and publications. The archive has been subject to various interventions and reorganisations throughout its use and subsequent storage within the library of the United National Independence Party; see the Arrangement note for further details.
The majority of the records are written in English, although various African languages are also featured, particularly in correspondence with the party membership.
