Hunar va Cinema is a weekly journal published by Amir Hushang Kavusi a well known film critic in Tehran, from March1961. Hushang Kavousi studied Cinematography in Paris and interned at famous Paris Studios. He coined the pejorative term ‘Filmfarsi’ used to refer to the popular cinema produced in Iran in the 1950s through the 1970s, Hunar va Cinema covered not only film but also literature, science and technology. هنر و سینما یک ژورنال هفتگی است که از فروردین ۱۳۴۰ توسط امیر هوشنگ کاووسی منتقد مشهور فیلم در تهران منتشر شده است. هوشنگ کاووسی در پاریس در رشته سینما شناسی تحصیل کرده و در استودیوی معروف پاریس کارورزی کرده است. او اصطلاح مخرب "فیلمفارسی" را برای اشاره به سینمای پرطرفدار تولید شده در ایران در دهه ۳۰ تا دهه ۵۰ ابداع كرد ، هنر و سینما نه تنها فیلم ، بلكه ادبیات ، علم و فناوری را نیز در بر گرفت.
