The series contains digital images of 64 issues of the newspaper Mir'āt al-Sharq, dating from November 1922 - April 1936. Mir'āt al-Sharq ('Mirror of the East') was established in Jerusalem in 1919 by Bulus Shihada. A supporter of the opposition (mu'aridin), it was shut down by the British authorities in 1938. Originally published on paper, measuring variously 31 x 35 cm, 56 x 40 cm, and 36 x 48 cm
