Liceo Tecnológico Alfredo Nazar Feres Collection

Custodial history: The documents have been produced by the high school based on their educational activities.

Author(s)/Creator(s): The lyceum, which today is located in the port city of Valparaíso, was founded in 1885 in the Peruvian city of Tacna, while that territory was under Chilean rule after the Pacific War. In 1929, when the area was returned to the Peruvian state, the high school moved to the Playa Ancha sector in the city of Valparaíso. It was the second secondary establishment for men in the port and currently operates in a technical-professional modality that prepares students in the trades of Electricity, Electronics and Telecommunications.

Arrangement: In 2015, the School Archives Program produced a documentary inventory in which series were provisionally identified. Currently there is no classification Scheme.
